Contacts Plus Privacy Policy

Contacts Plus ("the app") organizes the contacts already on your Android device. This policy explains what the app handles and how.

The short version

Contacts Plus reads the contact list on your device to organize and display it. Your contacts are not sold, shared with third parties, or uploaded to us as a product feature. There are no ads in the app.

Information the app uses

• Contact details — names, phone numbers, emails, addresses, organizations, job titles and important dates — read from your device's contact list so the app can group, search and display them.
• Groups and starred contacts, as they already exist on your device.
• Blood group and similar labels you add yourself.

How your data is used

• To organize and display your contacts — by company, designation, location, event date and group.
• To let you act on a contact: call, message, or share it as a QR code.
• To schedule birthday and anniversary reminders. These are off by default, and when enabled they are scheduled locally on your device in your own time zone.

Business card scanning

The card scanner uses on-device text recognition. The card image and the text extracted from it are processed on your phone. You review the parsed result and confirm it before anything is saved to your contacts.

Google services

The app uses Google services for sign-in, crash reporting, analytics and messaging. These report app health and usage — for example a crash stack trace, or which screens are opened — and are governed by Google's own privacy policy. They do not transmit the contents of your address book.

Purchases

Contacts Plus Pro is a single one-time purchase handled by Google Play Billing. A record of the purchase is kept so it can be restored on your devices. We never see or store your payment details.

Your rights

You can add, edit or delete any contact at any time using your device's own contacts app. Deleting a contact there removes it from Contacts Plus. Uninstalling the app removes its local database and settings.

Children

Contacts Plus is not directed at children under 13.
