Android apps and browser extensions by Nahid

Small, sharp Android apps that keep your data on your phone.

Tools for the things your devices handle badly — the screenshots piling up in your gallery, the contacts you can never find, the apps that eat your evening before you have decided to open them, and the tab you opened without meaning to. All of them work offline and carry no ads.

The apps

SnapVault

Capture. Organize. Remember.

Bills, receipts, Wi-Fi passwords, quotes, recipes. SnapVault catches every screenshot the moment you take it, files it in one tap, and reads the text inside so you can find it again in seconds.

  • Instant screenshot detection, even in the background
  • On-device OCR search across every image
  • No account, no cloud, no ads
  • Pro is a one-time purchase

Contacts Plus

Connecting people.

Contacts Plus reads the company, job title, location and dates already sitting in your contacts and turns them into something you can actually navigate — then scans business cards straight into it.

  • Group contacts by company, job title and location
  • On-device business card scanning
  • Birthday and anniversary reminders
  • One-time purchase, no ads

TemptShield

Friction, not surveillance.

Porn and doomscrolling are not decisions — they are reflexes. TemptShield puts a full-screen pause in front of the apps you have flagged, long enough for the decision to come back to you, and counts every urge you beat. Fully offline: no account, no filter list to upload, nobody watching.

  • A 10-second pause before porn and doomscroll apps open
  • Device-wide adult-content filtering via Android Private DNS
  • An urge score only you can see
  • Free, offline, no account, no tracking

And one for your browser

The same habit lives in a new tab. These do the same job in the browser — locally, with nothing sent anywhere.

TemptShield for Chrome

A pause, not a block.

Cmd+T, three letters, Enter — you are on the feed before any decision was made. This Chrome extension puts a calm pause in front of the sites you choose, asks what brings you here, and then leaves the choice entirely to you. Nothing is ever blocked, and nothing you type or visit leaves your browser.

  • A 10-second pause before the sites you choose
  • Never blocks — Continue always works
  • Zero network requests, no account, no analytics
  • Free and open source

How everything here is built

On-device by default

Every app does its real work — OCR, text recognition, organizing, noticing which app or tab you opened — on your own phone or in your own browser. There are no accounts to create and no servers holding your data.

Bought once, not rented

Where there is something to pay for, it is a single one-time purchase. No subscriptions, no renewals, no feature you already paid for disappearing later — and both TemptShields are free outright.

No ads, no tracking

Nothing here carries advertising. Nothing you organize, scan, flag or pause on is mined, profiled or sold, because none of it leaves your device.
